In 2007 Debbie and John flew to Ireland to visit Liesel. While there, the three of them took a one week all-inclusive vacation to Sharm-El-Shiek on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. After returning to Dublin they took the train to Galway and visited the Aran Islands.
